BULK STORAGE SYSTEM

Bulk Storage Silos play an important role in the smooth function of a process plant. Storage Silos are required to be highly reliable and efficient in material discharge system to ensure uninterrupted material unloading process. 


AYS together with our technology partners have been building Bulk Storage Silos of different storage sizes and storage materials based on EPCC contracts.


Some of common storage materials are cement, coal, raw meal, fly ash, gypsum and other powdery or granulate products. ï»¿

CONCRETE SILO

  • IBAU HAMBURG Original Central Cone Silo Technology
  • First in the industry to invent the inverted cone to promote mass flow of dry bulk material during discharge
  • Storage of wide range of dry bulk material eg. Cement, Raw Meal, Fly Ash, Alumina etc.

BULK TANKER LOADING

  • IBAU Bulk Tanker Loading Chute
  • Dust free loading of fine bulk material eg. cement, fly ash, limestone powder etc. 
  • Loading capacity up to 420m3/hr
  • The loading chute is lowered and raised by the lifting winch with 3-rope guidance developed by IBAU.
  • Robust telescopic chute made of hard wearing material
  • Outer bellow creates double wall for dust extraction
  • IBAU Simplex Loader can be moved in the longitudinal direction over the silo truck in order to connect loading chute to the tanker hatches without having to move the vehicle. This shortens the filling time per tanker.

CLINKER LOADING CHUTE

  • Aumund’s Telescopic Chute type TS for clinker loading into trucks or ships at low & high capacities
  • High capacity with fast successions of loading operation reaches capacity up to 700TPH
  • Lifting distance from 2500mm to 6000mm
  • Automatic lifting of loading chute during loading process for dust containment
  • Integrated with de-dusting to minimise dust during loading 
  • Loading chute for clinker loading is offered in wear-resistant design

CLINKER DISCHARGE GATE

With more than 1,500 installations worldwide, the clinker discharge gate from Aumund has been the standard of dosing gate for clinker silos. Aumund motor controlled dosing gate ensures accurate and minimal dust dosing. 

  • No free fall of the clinker onto the conveyor
  • Low throughput speed – corresponding to the discharge speed of the pan conveyor – effectively avoids dust generation (gravity principle)
  • Layer height limiter for constant discharge capacity
  • Control of the conveyed volume by adapting the discharge speed of the
deep drawn pan conveyor or through adjustment of the layer height limitation
  • Simple, reliable concept
  • Discharge capacities of more than 1,000t/h in one line
